1. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Secretariat of the Korea International Optics Fair Exhibition (“Secretariat”) collects and uses personal information for the purposes of:
Promotion and announcement of all exhibitions and events organized by the Secretariat, including future editions of this exhibition
Electronic business card services
International exhibition certification purposes
If you do not wish to receive such information, you may refuse the service at any time by notifying the Secretariat via the designated contact number or other provided channels (e.g., email).

2. Items of Personal Information Collected
(a) Required Items: Name, Department, Affiliation, Contact number (mobile phone), Email address, Country, Survey responses, Optional Items: Consent to receive exhibition information, Additional survey responses (purpose of visit, how you learned about the exhibition, etc.)

3. Retention, Use Period, and Provision to Third Parties
The Secretariat complies with all applicable laws regarding personal data protection, confidentiality, prohibition of third-party provision, liability in case of accidents, terms of delegation, and obligations for return/destruction after processing.
(a) Retention and Use Period Personal information will be retained until the purposes of use (e.g., marketing, exhibition certification) are fulfilled, or until membership withdrawal. Afterward, it will be promptly destroyed.
(b) Provision to Third Parties The Secretariat will use personal data only within the stated purposes and will not provide it to third parties except as permitted by law. However, personal information may be provided to third parties under the following circumstances:
Co-organizers – For customer management (complaint handling, surveys, prize distribution), event announcements, and sending exhibition information
Electronic business card service providers – For convenient business card exchange between exhibitors and participants
Association of Korea Exhibition Industry (AKEI) – For objective verification in relation to international exhibition certification

4. Rights of Data Subjects
Materials (photos, videos) taken at the exhibition venue may be used for promotion and marketing purposes. Under the Personal Information Protection Act, you have the right to refuse the collection and use of your personal information. However, refusal may result in restrictions on exhibition admission.

5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing
For the purpose of providing enhanced services and operational convenience, certain tasks are outsourced to external companies. The Secretariat supervises these companies to ensure compliance with relevant laws. (Names of contracted companies to be disclosed separately.)
